Security Supervisor, Oil and Gas Sector

GardaWorld is currently looking for experienced Security Agent Supervisors to join our team.
Reporting directly to the client, the Site Security Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the site security operations and management of the site’s Security Agents
Responsibilities Included
- Development of site-specific Security Agent Post Orders, and maintenance thereof
- Document workplace observations, attend/lead toolbox talks and safety meetings
- Review shift and patrol reports advising the client representative of anything unusual
- Establish and maintain patrol routes and scan/ GPS points
- Traffic safety enforcement program management
- Performing regular and routine documented quality control checks of all Security Agents, security vehicles and posts, and following-up on any deficiencies
- Security incident reporting. Ensures that all site security incidents have been accurately documented within the incident report database, and communicated to the appropriate parties within 24 hours
- Site-wide emergency dispatch duties and management
- Providing reports to various client safety, supply chain, and human resources contacts, as required
- When authorized by the client representative, ordering of Third-Party Goods and Materials
- Ensuring that all facilities entrusted to its Security Agents are in good working order including, timely reporting to the client representative if not in good working order
- Investigating and documenting safety-related incidents involving Contractor Personnel to be documented within the required system
- Management of Security personnel with the support of GardaWorld Human Resources
- Security Agent coaching based on the GardaWorld Human Resources policies
- Scheduling of Security Agents such that only trained and qualified security guards hold the appropriate positions
- Development of site-specific Security Agent training programs, and maintenance thereof
- Training and placement of Security Agents
- Succession planning for all security staff positions; site Security Supervisors must be trained and qualified for all Security Agent positions

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of security supervisory experience
- Valid Security Guard licence
- Above average communication skills (written and oral)
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred
- Proactive, attention-to-detail, self-motivated and team player
- Professional attitude and ability to maintain and promote harmonious relationships with clients and staff
- Schedule flexibility
