Supervisor- Claims and Investigations

We are currently hiring a Supervisor, Claims and Investigations for our Cash Services division in Mississauga, Ontario.

 

What you will be doing

 

  • Maintain and improve the quality, profitability and safety of the services offered and respect production schedules
  • Manage expenses according to the budget, both labor and current expenses
  • Conduct investigations, as required, in collaboration with internal or external agencies to determine the causes of off-balance and claims
  • Daily reporting of all customers (For different functions e.g., Deposit Processing, Cash Bin, ATM Rec, Cheque investigations, BOC, Precious Metals)
  • Printing of Labels – All Commercial & ATM Rec Orders
  • Billing- Data Collection for Monthly CVS Billing
  • Completing Daily Metrics Data collection
  • Assisting in investigation of Daily Outages and actioning as required (Pulling TRs, requesting rebalances, performing offsets, maintaining the daily differences tracker)
  • Assisting with CVS Claim Investigations
  • Ensuring all programs (Compass & Money Manager) are updated with current routing information.
  • Emergency Cash Parcel Management
  • Responding to customer emails, inquires in a timely & professional manner
  • Operating the NES system for daily cash flow of BOC
  • Follow-up on the productivity of the different sub-sectors of the department
  • Any other related tasks

 

You are the ideal candidate for this position because you possess: 

 

  • Proven experience in achieving operational objectives
  • Able to evolve in a dynamic and changing environment
  • Management experience (unionized environment an asset)
  • University education in a related field (Administration, Business Management, etc.) a major asset
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (French an asset)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Very good leadership and work organization skills
  • Strong teamwork and partnership orientation
  • Sense of urgency, exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
  • Critical thinking and active listening skills
