Job Description

The Portfolio Director Leads, Manages & Develops a Team of 5 Account Managers to drive and execute the delivery of the portfolio financials, customer relationships and coaching to ensure short & long term success.The Portfolio Director will have the ability to thrive in a challenging fasted paced environment that will be intertwined on all aspects of the security business. This Portfolio Director reports to the Regional Director for the GTA. This role will have visibility to the Reginal VP for Ontario and collaborate within the Ontario Senior Management Team, Account Managers & his/her peers.

 

Responsibilities and Tasks

 

The successful candidate is responsible for Leadership and accountability of the designated portfolio which entails:

  • Leads an assigned group of 5 Account Manager and/or other operational staff who are accountable for the operational performance all assigned sites within their portfolio.
  • Manage existing contracts through leadership to ensure all expectations are met
  • Quarterbacks existing RFP and tender responses in defense of associated revenue.
  • Owns the overall customer relationship; advances it up and throughout the client hierarchy.
  • Provide quotations to add coverage at existing sites, or at additional customer locations.
  • Informs and educates clients on the GardaWorld range of products and services.
  • Assesses and report market conditions, competitive pressures, new market/client opportunities and provides recommendations to the business.

  • Strong communication and delegating skills.
  • Strong organizational and priority setting skills to ensure goals are met.
  • Computer skills – ability to use Microsoft office suite of programs with efficiency.  Be familiar with the operation of the company scheduling and billing system (Vision).
  • Self- motivated & able to achieve set goals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills (Outside the box thinking)
  • P&L Financial literacy is an asset
