What matters most in this role is your ability to engage with people easily and make them feel confident in your ability to assist them. As an Access Card Administrator, you will be interacting with employees, contractors, and visitors throughout your shift in environments such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. The role requires strong customer service skills as you issue and activate access cards, deactivate them when they are no longer needed, and maintain accurate records of all card activity and access levels. You will ensure compliance with security policies, troubleshoot basic card-related issues, and escalate more complex concerns to security or IT when required. Additionally, you will work closely with the security and facilities teams to manage access changes and support any special requests, ensuring smooth and secure operations.

Responsibilities for Access card Administrator

• Issue and activate access cards for employees, contractors, and visitors.

• Deactivate or revoke access cards when no longer needed.

• Maintain accurate records of card issuance, deactivation, and user access levels.

• Ensure compliance with security policies and protocols regarding access.

• Troubleshoot basic card-related issues or escalate to security/IT as needed.

• Coordinate with security or facilities teams regarding access changes or special requests

Qualifications for Access card Administrator

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
• Attention to detail
• Technical aptitude
• Confidentiality and integrity
• Problem-solving ability
• Previous experience as an Access card Administrator or similar experience  ( An Asset)
