Security Guard, Mobile

If you are seeking a job where no two days are the same, this one is for you! As a Full time Security Guard on Mobile Patrol, you will be working in a variety of settings including but not limited to condominiums, commercial properties, and malls.    

Location: 444 Seaman St, Hamilton, ON

Schedule: 20:00-08:00 Continental Rotation (84 hours) Week 1: Monday/Tuesday/Friday/Saturday Week 2: Sunday/Wednesday/Thursday

Pay rate: $18.25

Training pay rate: $16.55

Training hours: Three days of training with a supervisor, 12 hour shifts 1900-0700

What does a Security Guard in Hamilton do?

• Patrolling in a variety of settings (mobile and foot) 

• Enforcing property rules, city by-laws, and other applicable laws 

• Deterring and responding to incidents on the property 

• Responding to various types of emergencies 

• Grounding at sites when required

• Maintain posted speed limits, driving in a safe manner

• Driving for extended periods of time

• Responsible for company and client property (client keys, company phone, company vehicle and more)

• Ability to report and maintain detailed notes.

Qualifications to become a Security Guard in Hamilton

• A valid security guard license and first aid card 

• Minimum 1 years security experience

• A valid driver's license G2 or G

• Available to work flexible hours 

• Have a clear criminal background and driving record 

• Be eligible to work in Canada
