What does a Security Guard in Newmarket do?

• Greet, inform, direct and escort various users and visitors 

• Provide assistance and evacuate the building(s) in case of emergency 

• Apprehend offenders and turn them over to the appropriate authorities 

• Detect, question and remove undesirable persons 

• Control access and exit of equipment 

• Participate in the transport or escort of valuables

Qualifications to become a Security Guard in Newmarket

• A valid security guard license and first aid card 

• Available to work flexible hours 

• Have a clear criminal background 

• Be eligible to work in Canada 

• PR / Citizenship status of Canada
