What does a Security Supervisor in Newmarket do?

  • Ensure the protection of people, assets, and property 

  • Monitor access of entryways and exit points 

  • Conduct preventive surveillance rounds  

  • Point of contact with authorities and emergency services 

Qualifications to become a Security Supervisor in Newmarket

  • Minimum of 6 months experience in personnel management in a unionized environment 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook 

  • Valid Ontario security guard license

  • WSIB approved first aid card 

  • Available to work flexible hours  

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent 

  • Be eligible to work in Canada
