What does a Security Guard do?

• Ensure the safety of people and property and keeping the peace 

• Able to work 12-hr rotational shifts days and nights

• Enforce safety procedures and standards 

• Escort and assist anyone as needed

• Intervene during an emergency or crisis 

• Operate video surveillance equipment  

Qualifications to become a Security Guard

• Current unrestricted registration with Saskatchewan College of Paramedics (NOCP 2011)

• Drug & Alcohol test is required

• Available to work flexible hours and have a clear criminal background 

• Be eligible to work in Canada and be 18 years or older
