GardaWorld offers a competitive daily rate (Contractor will only be paid whilst on-duty – no payment made for Off-duty) 

 *subject to local tax (if applicable)

Leave Rotation

6 weeks on, 6 weeks off, subject to operational requirements

Travel Pay

Contractors are not entitled to pay while travelling.

Visa Requirements

The fee for stamping the multiple entry visa onto the passport upon arrival in the airport, will be borne solely by the Contractor.  The approximate cost for this transaction is US$102.


GardaWorld will provide the Independent Contractor with appropriate accommodation, insurance, flights and life support while on duty.

Flight Package

GardaWorld will provide an economy class return ticket per rotation to the project location from a hub airport as close as reasonably practicable to the Contractor’s declared home address.


The Contractor will be asked to declare their preferences for a primary, secondary and tertiary hub airport from the GardaWorld hub list at the commencement of their engagement. Where possible and commercially acceptable, GardaWorld will look to book travel to and from one of the preferred hubs.


The Contractor will be responsible for any travel arrangements between the hub airport and their home address.

Hiring Criteria

  • With Project, Client & external personnel.
  • The proven ability to work in demanding environments 
  • Must have 3 years Iraq experience or 7 years security experience
  • Be in possession of a clean police criminal records check
  • Military experience obligatory of not less than 7 years with a credible arm of a recognised unit within the armed forces. 
  • Previous PM experience in a similar role in a commercial security company for five years
  • Computer literacy essential – must be able to use Microsoft Office Programmes including; Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good inter-personal skills, both, to be reliable, professional and enthusiastic in all aspects.
  • Experience working in a confidential environment.
  • Experience of handling information with a firm understanding and knowledge of information assurance and OPSEC.
  • Age not prescriptive, but candidate will need the experience referred to above.
  • Be in possession of a current driving license.
  • He will be capable of managing under pressure of time and resources and of recognising which decisions require higher level engagement.
  • Will need to demonstrate flexibility.
  • Must be physically fit to operate in extreme weather and arduous conditions
  • Must have a mature approach to staff work and management, will be able to conceptualise courses of action through careful analysis and collaborative problem solving.
  • Possess strong presentational and briefing skills and must be able to engage with a wide spectrum of stakeholders
  • Display tact and diplomacy at all times

Job Duties

Reporting to the ROM the Roving Project Manager will be integrated into RMT security operations and is required to:


  • Provide project management of all security operations on designated Projects.
  • Responsible for developing a strong link with the clients and advise them on Project activities and security matters.
  • Evaluate and check project deliverables, develop/update Security Plans, SOPs and maintain accurate and up to date project statistics, including Daily Use Returns for invoicing purposes.
  • Responsible for crisis, contingency planning and incident management including evacuation plans.
  • Responsible for the generation, oversight and development of QA/QC Plans, including operational audits and inspections as required.
  • Resolve problems identified by clients regarding service delivery and performance and discipline of the work force.
  • Manage all project personnel and logistics, liaising within RMT, to ensure that projects remain fully mission capable.
  • Ensure training, operating and discipline standards are maintained across the project and training data is collated in line with project specific minimum standards.
  • Preparation of critical operational staff work, and client required documents to include: CONOPs, mobilization/recovery/training plans, SOPs, and leave plot.
  • Carry out GardaWorld Investigation Process following any incident.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of the operational conditions across the region.
  • Produce and distribute a weekly Projects sitrep in line with agreed format.
  • Maintain situational awareness of Business Development opportunities and feed them back to LHO via weekly sitrep or on ad hoc basis.
  • Have a working knowledge of the Bid’s / SOW / WO / RFP’s
  • Reply to RFI’s as directed by the RD / Dubai
