Full Time Afternoon Security Guard

Are you ready to suit up?

GardaWorld is looking for a motivated Security Guard to join our team to work a Full Time afternoon position 1600-0000 Monday to Friday.   This role is located at a primarily outdoor location which will see the majority of your time patrolling on foot with time in between patrols spent monitoring CCTV cameras for potential hazards and threats.  A successful candidate will have a strong work ethic and be able and willing to complete outdoor patrols in all weather conditions.  

Pay Rate: $18.00/Hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday 1600-0000 (40 Hours per Week)

What does a Security Guard in Barrie do?

• Ensure the protection of people, assets, and property 

• Monitor access of entryways and exit points 

• Conduct preventive surveillance rounds  

• Point of contact with authorities and emergency services 

Qualifications to become a Security Guard in Barrie

• A valid Ontario security guard license

• Valid WSIB approved CPR/First Aid Certification

• Available to work hours outlined in job description

• Able to complete frequent foot patrols in all weather conditions (appropriate winter uniforms are provided)

• Have a clear criminal background 

• Be eligible to work in Canada

• Successful completion of Secondary School or equivalent
