Part Time Recreation Centre Security

We are looking for a Part Time Security Guard for a Recreation Centre in Barrie

If you are looking for a part time security position in a customer-service focused environment - this is the position for you!  As a security guard at a recreational facility in Barrie, you will play a role in maintaining a calm, welcoming environment for patrons while upholding site rules and important safety protocols. This role perfect for those with a customer service background, and looking to transition into the security field.  Successful applicants will have a level-headed and patient demeanor, have experience in customer service and be able to communicate effectively in English. 

Schedule: Monday to Friday 1000-1400 (Applicants MUST be able to work 2-3 shifts in a row at the beginning or end of the week OR the full schedule to apply)

Pay Rate: $17.25/Hour

What does a Security Guard in Barrie do?

• Enforcement of site rules and regulations
• Maintain order at the facility during busy hours
• Ensure entryways, exits and hallways are clear
• Removal of problematic individuals 
• Patrol the site on foot   
• Coordinate response to incidents  

Qualifications to become a Security Guard in {City

• A valid security guard license and first aid card prior to submitting an application

• Available to work flexible hours 

• Have a clear criminal background 

• Professional verbal communication in English

• Be eligible to work in Canada
