We have an exciting opportunity for a security guard that wants to grow their career in Barrie. We have a Part time opportunity available at one of our client sites that requires flexibility and ability to work a variety of shifts. You will be primarily placed into a Saturday and Sunday 2000-0800 role but be available for other coverage if needed. You will be responsible for access control, patrols and play a crucial part in keeping the client and their people safe and secure. 

You must be able to pass Government Reliability Clearance. 

This position pays $18.50 per hour with annual increases. 

Casual Positions also available for on-call coverage, last minute requests and vacation coverage. All same requirements are required for the dedicated staff. You may work at other sites in the region but will be the premier support for the dedicated site.

What does a Security Guard in Barrie do?

• Ensure the protection of people, assets, and property 

• Monitor access of entryways and exit points 

• Conduct preventive surveillance rounds  

• Point of contact with authorities and emergency services 

Qualifications to become a Security Guard in Barrie

• A valid security guard license and first aid card 

• MUST be able to obtain and keep active Government Reliability Level Clearance. Secret Clearance optional but an added benefit. 

• Available to work flexible hours 

• Have a clear criminal background 

• Be eligible to work in Canada
