Tactical Security Guard

We are hiring for a Tactical Security Guard to work in Downtown Barrie. The ideal candidate has previously worked in an environment that has you managing a variety of demographics with a focus on the vulnerable, the unhoused and individuals dealing with addiction and mental health concerns. Your ability to provide a high level of security and protection while maintaining a customer service attitude is required as you conduct frequent patrols and interactions with the public. 

This post is both indoor and outdoor in all kinds of weather and requires a flexible schedule that has you working standard continental shifts with a combination of 2 weeks days, 2 weeks nights and giving you every other weekend off. Paying $20.00/hr this position is perfect for the security professional looking for flexibility and variety in their employment.

• Monitor access of entryways and exit points 

• Conduct preventive surveillance rounds

Qualifications to become a Security Guard in Barrie

• A valid security guard license and first aid card 

• Available to work flexible hours 

• Have a clear criminal background 

• Be eligible to work in Canada

• Must have ability to pass Use of Force training and certification (Free training provided) 

• Acess to a reliable vehicle preferred, but not required.
