Administration and Finance Manager

Role Requirements

  • The Administration and Finance Manager reports to Regional Operations Manager as required.  The Administration and Finance Manager is directly responsible for all in-country financials, including a large cash payroll, vendor payments and accounting procedures using Sales Force platform. Iraqi national tax and social payments.
  • Previous finance experience in similar role (minimum of 5 years).
  • Must be between 25 to 45 Years of Age
  • Detailed financial awareness – understands terms of profit, loss and adding value
  • Ability to apply financial analysis and modelling across a range of situations
  • Familiar with accounting platforms (preferable SalesForce).
  • Accounting experience: payroll, accruals, cash floats
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office 
  • Fluent English speaker
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous Iraq experience desirable 

Services

Services provided by the Contractor shall be those typically expected for someone in the Position and include, but not be limited to the provision of financial and adminstraive services to Regional Management Team. Services the Contractor can expect to carry out, would include: 

  • Monitoring and reporting on Cash Flow including Capex & Opex forecasting
  • Acting as a “Regional Lead” for SalesForce to review & validate project pipeline information
  • Periodic Audit & review of cash processes, capex & fixed assets in terms of sign-off and control
  • Reviewing & maintaining of Financial Standard Operating Procedures in the Business Management System
  • Responsible for balancing large cash payroll.
  • Responsible for Sales Force accounting platform entries, including month end accruals opening and closing monthly accounts.
  • Responsible for vendor payments and invoice processing.
  • Responsible for balancing company bank accounts with a monthly turnover of $2m.   
  • Oversight and Management of the Southern Iraq Finance function in close cooperation with the ROM.
