Role Requirements

  • Military experience obligatory.
  • Private Security Company experience desirable, especially as Operator / Medic.
  • Previous experience in Oil and Gas industry desirable.
  • Previous work experience in the Middle East desirable.
  • Good standard of written and verbal skills required.
  • Computer literacy advantageous.
  • Good inter-personal skills, both with Project, Client & external personnel.
  • Age not prescriptive, but candidate will need the experience referred to above.
  • Be in possession of a current driving licence.
  • Must be able to work productively under pressure.
  • Will need to demonstrate flexibility.
  • Be in possession of a clean police criminal records check.
  • Must be physically fit to operate in extreme weather and arduous conditions
  • In date frontline SIA license (or equivalent from country of origin);
  • Minimum Level 3 medical qualifications such as Qualsafe’s FREC Level 3.
  • To have attended and passed an accredited CP course.

Services

Services provided by the Contractor shall be those typically expected for someone in the Position and include, but not be limited to the provision of security services to ensure the safety and security of all client staff and other personnel who come under duty of care of ENI, Basra. Services the Contractor can expect to carry out, would include: 

 

The PPO/FPOS Medic is responsible for assisting the team leader with the provision of armed security both mobile and static in order to provide the appropriate level of protection on all PST missions. In addition the PPO/FPOS Medic is responsible for the provision of basic life support to staff; he reports directly to the PST team leader.

 

  • Act as PPO and vehicle commander on all PST movements outside the LSC.
  • Responsible for providing armed deterrent and presence at all sites visited by the PST.
  • Responsible for delivering a security brief to all clients prior to departure.
  • Responsible for maintaining a high level of situational awareness on all missions.
  • Responsible for check navigation as required.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of all weapon systems issued.
  • Perform any other tasks and duties not mentioned above as directed by Project management. 
  • Any other direction or reasonable request given by appropriate GardaWorld Management team in accordance with GW Standard Operating Procedures and Guidelines.
