Security Guard - Warehouse Environment

Your Role

As a Surveillance Security Guard, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure warehouse environment. This position requires strong observation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond calmly and professionally to incidents.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring security and surveillance systems to detect suspicious or unusual activity

• Conducting regular interior and exterior patrols to ensure the safety of the premises

• Controlling access to secure areas and verifying the identity of visitors and personnel

• Responding promptly to incidents, alarms, or potential threats

• Documenting observed events and incidents by completing clear, detailed reports

• Maintaining an accurate and up-to-date memo book

• Analyzing security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions

• Collaborating with law enforcement and emergency responders when required

• Communicating observations and concerns effectively with site supervisors

This role requires reliability, focus, and the ability to remain alert throughout overnight shifts.

What You Bring

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Authorization to work in Canada

• A valid Ontario Security Guard Licence

• First Aid certification (required)

• Strong report writing and documentation skills

• Good eyesight and the ability to maintain focus for extended periods

• Strong technology proficiency, including surveillance systems

• Ability to work independently while following site procedures

• A professional, punctual, and dependable work ethic

Previous experience in surveillance, warehouse, or industrial security is considered an asset.
