Security Guard, Floater

Schedule: Various Days/ afternoons/ overnights, Books offs replacements.

Location: Brantford( Various sites)

Hourly pay rate : $19.38- $22.00 / Hour Depending on the site

What does a Security Guard in Brantford do?

• Ensuring the protection of people, assets, and property 

• Monitoring CCTV- Video surveillance

• Conducting preventive surveillance rounds  

• Removing trespassers and vagrants

• Providing First Aid when necessary 

• Point of contact with authorities and emergency services (Police, Fire and Medical)

• Interior and exterior patrol of site.

• Responding to emergency situations.

• Dealing with difficult individuals and situations.

• Interaction with Police, Fire and Medical teams.

• Report writing

• Working in both an indoor and outdoor environment for long periods of time.

Qualifications to become a Security Guard in Brantford

• A valid security guard license and first aid card 

• Ontario G or G-2 Drivers License would be considered an asset

• Have a clear criminal background 

• Be eligible to work in Canada

• A minimum of 1 year of security experience.

• Ability to complete all company and site training including Use of Force- Handcuffing and Baton
