GardaWorld is currently expanding its operational team based out of our Vancouver Branch. We are currently recruiting for the position of Operations Coordinator. This will be a salaried position based out of Burnaby, and the position will be reporting directly to an Account Manager and Branch Operations Manager.
Your primary role will be to provide leadership, supervision and coordination to the GardaWorld employees who serve in the Greater Vancouver, Fraser Valley and surrounding areas and mobile section. You will also be acting as a liaison between the Pacific Region's account management team and our local clients and partnerships, while maintaining the highest degree of professionalism and service.
What you’ll be doing
- Provide supervision to a team of security professionals to ensure effective delivery of security services
- Ensure all contractual requirements are adhered to and that all security duties are carried out in compliance with all federal, provincial, and municipal laws
- Co-ordinate with the management team to schedule and book training for all staff
- Ensure compliance with ministry standards and applicable governing standards
- Evaluate and practice progressive discipline principles of staff
- Provide mentorship and guidance to field level security officers
- Develop strategies and implement objectives to improve service
- Liaise and build relationships with community and stake holders to help foster community relationships
- Act as the intermediary between GardaWorld management and Client Management teams
- Manage and communicate KPI’s with Account Managers
- Other duties as assigned by the Regional Director and Operations Manager

- Able to organize and prioritize multiple tasks & responsibilities
