Territory Sales Representative – Oil & Gas & Mining (Western Canada)
Location: Calgary, hybrid
Compensation: Competitive Base Salary + Uncapped Commission + Benefits
The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly driven Territory Sales Representative to lead business development efforts across the Oil & Gas and Mining sectors in Western Canada. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who thrives on prospecting, building relationships, and winning new business in highly competitive industrial markets.
As the face of our organization, you will be responsible for growing market share, developing strategic customer relationships, and driving sales of our Mobile Skid Units (MSUs) and lighting tower solutions. You will work directly with oil and gas operators, EPC contractors, pipeline companies, mining organizations, construction firms, and other industrial customers that require reliable temporary power and lighting solutions for remote operations.
Key Responsibilities

Prospect, develop, and secure new business opportunities throughout the assigned territory.

Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline from lead generation through contract execution.

Conduct customer meetings, site visits, product demonstrations, and needs assessments.

Develop territory growth strategies and account plans to achieve revenue objectives.

Build relationships with procurement teams, project managers, operations leaders, and key decision-makers.

Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and long-term customer partnerships.

Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.

Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and market intelligence.

Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.

Identify growth opportunities within oil & gas, mining, construction, forestry, and related industrial sectors.
Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience within oil & gas, energy services, industrial equipment, rentals, or related industries.

Proven success in new business development and territory growth.

Established network within Western Canada's oil & gas and industrial markets.

Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Experience managing complex sales cycles and customer accounts.

Proficiency with CRM systems and pipeline management.

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively throughout Northern Alberta and British Columbia.
