The Account Manager will serve as the primary liaison between their assigned accounts and key GardaWorld departments, including Scheduling, Pay & Bill, Recruiting, and other support teams. As an Ambassador of GardaWorld Security, the Account Manager is expected to embody and integrate the company’s core values into all daily responsibilities while consistently upholding our standards of excellence and service quality.
The Account Manager is responsible for addressing all issues pertaining to the accounts within their prescribed portfolio including but not limited to:
- Onboarding new hires, staff relations and performance management
- Client liaison and satisfaction
- Site security operations, contract renewals, in accordance with GardaWorld company policies and mandates.
- Risk Management and incident response

Key Responsibilities:
- Drive customer satisfaction and retention through proactive communication and high-quality service delivery
- Handle escalations, complaints, and inquiries promptly with proper documentation and corrective action
- Understand client culture, expectations, and translate contracts into clear operating instructions (Standing Orders)
- Support account start-ups and transitions for smooth onboarding and closeouts
- Ensure sites are fully staffed with trained, licensed, and compliant personnel
- Monitor training, licensing, and compliance requirements, including annual updates and hazard assessments
- Oversee daily operations, reporting systems, and enforce Professional Standards
- Lead and develop Account Coordinators and Site Supervisors through coaching and performance management
- Manage staffing, recruitment coordination, onboarding, and workforce planning using key reports
- Handle employee relations including investigations, transfers, redeployments, and HR coordination
- Maintain accurate documentation, inventory, and submit monthly KPI/MSR reports
- Collaborate with leadership teams, and lead internal programs (e.g., Ambassador Era) while supporting portfolio needs
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 3–5 years of Account Management experience, preferably in security, operations, or a related service-based industry.
- 2–3 years of security industry experience, including exposure to site operations, client relations, or field supervision.
- Professional security designations such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP), ASIS certifications, or other relevant credentials are considered an asset.
- Clean criminal background check, meeting all provincial and client requirements.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for travel between designated client sites.
- High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education in business, security managements, or a related field is an asset).
