What does a Field Supervisor in downtown Calgary do?
- Working as a client liaison between GardaWorld and Brookfield for efficient operations.
- Regular communication regarding schedules, and day-to-day operations with site supervisors.
- Continuously monitor staff performance for improvement within the team.
- Quality assurance visits as well as conducing health and safety meetings/audits.
- Maintaining the site schedule in order to ensure that all site shifts are filled in a timely manner.
- Tracking and coordinating training for all guards and advising on opportunities for new training.
- Attend various meetings on a regular basis including but not limited to health and safety, security, performance, investigations etc.
- Responsible for after-hours supervision of various client sites including but not limited to providing support to on-site staff, making sure shifts are filled, and coordinating with site managers.
- Support tracking recruitment and HR stats for all of Brookfield
- This position reports directly to the Dedicated Major Account Coordinator as well Senior Account Manager.
Qualifications required for a Field Supervisor in Calgary
- Post-secondary level or equivalent work experience.
- Valid Alberta Security License
- Full class 5 advanced drivers license and clean drivers abstract
- A diploma from a recognized institution in Security technology or equivalent would be an asset.
- Minimum 2+ years in a physical security environment.
- Certified Protection Officer (CPO) designation or equivalent would be a strong asset.
- Time Management skills.
- Professional and self motivated.
- Superior customer service / interpersonal skills
- Superior communication skills (verbal / written)
- Able to work in a team environment or independently as required.
- Excellent MSOffice skills.
- Strong Interpersonal relationship skills.
- Must be flexible to work afternoon shifts
