Position Summary
GardaWorld is seeking a strategic and results-oriented National Director, Residential and SMB Security Systems to lead our residential and small business division across Canada. This high-impact leadership role is ideal for a seasoned industry expert with a proven track record in driving operational excellence, innovation, and profitable growth in the security systems sector.
As a key member of the Security Systems & Technology leadership team, you will develop and execute the national strategy for the Residential and SMB segment, overseeing cross-functional teams and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused security solutions. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence across all provinces, while ensuring consistency, compliance, and exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the national strategy and execution of sales, operations, and service delivery within the Residential and SMB division.
- Drive business development, customer retention, and market expansion initiatives nationwide.
- Provide strategic direction and mentorship to regional and national sales leaders, with a strong focus on accountability, performance, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure seamless coordination across sales, installation, and alarm monitoring teams to deliver integrated and dependable security solutions.
- Partner with product development, marketing, and pricing teams to optimize offerings and enhance customer value.
- Manage division budgets and forecasts, with full accountability for P&L, job costing, and overall financial performance.
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify growth opportunities and maintain GardaWorld’s competitive edge.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in the residential alarm or electronic security systems industry.
- In-depth knowledge of alarm monitoring systems, security technologies, and installation operations.
- Proven success in B2C and SMB sales leadership, with measurable results in driving business performance.
- Experience managing operations across multiple provinces, including bilingual markets.
- Strong financial acumen, including budget management, pricing strategy, and cost control.
- Bilingual in English and French is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven, and entrepreneurial culture.
