Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic National Sales Manager to lead our residential security systems division in Canada. This role requires a proven leader with a strong track record in sales management and deep expertise in residential security solutions. The ideal candidate will drive growth, manage a high-performing team, and ensure exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management:
Recruit, train, and retain top-performing sales representatives across Alberta.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions and quarterly performance reviews.
Identify skill gaps and implement tailored training programs.

Strategic Sales Planning:
Develop annual and quarterly sales plans aligned with corporate objectives.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to refine strategies.
Set clear regional targets and allocate resources effectively.
Collaborate with marketing to design campaigns that drive lead generation.

Revenue Growth & Market Expansion:
Drive aggressive growth in residential security systems sales.
Expand presence in key Alberta markets (Calgary, Edmonton, and surrounding areas).
Build strategic partnerships with builders, property managers, and dealers.
Negotiate high-value contracts and maintain profitability margins.

Operational Excellence:
Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing structures, and operational standards.
Oversee accurate forecasting and pipeline management using CRM tools.
Monitor and optimize sales processes for efficiency and scalability.

Customer Relationship Management
Maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Resolve escalated customer issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Implement feedback loops to improve service delivery and product offerings.

Reporting & Analytics:
Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports for senior leadership.
Track KPIs such as conversion rates, revenue per rep, and churn metrics.
Use data-driven insights to adjust strategies and improve team performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with operations, finance, and product teams to align goals.
Support dealer and wholesale channels in Alberta for integrated growth.
Participate in national leadership meetings and contribute to strategic planning.

Sales Strategy & Execution:
Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with national objectives.
Monitor KPIs and ensure achievement of revenue and market share targets.

Business Development:
Identify new business opportunities and partnerships within the residential security sector.
Expand dealer networks and strengthen relationships with existing partners.

Customer Focus:
Ensure superior customer service and satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.
Address escalated client concerns promptly and professionally.

Reporting & Analysis:
Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and market analysis for senior leadership.
Utilize CRM tools to track performance and pipeline health.

Qualifications:

Experience:
Minimum 10 years of sales leadership experience, with at least 5 years in residential security systems.
Proven success in managing multi-location teams and driving revenue growth.

Skills:
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
Proficiency in CRM systems and data-driven decision-making.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
