You will work closely with event organizers, emergency services, and fellow security professionals to ensure smooth event operations.

Responsibilities for Event Security Guard
- Provide a visible security presence at events and venues
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas
- Conduct access control and credential verification
- Assist with crowd management and pedestrian flow
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies in a professional manner
- Enforce venue policies and event regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service to attendees, vendors, and staff
- Complete incident reports and required documentation accurately
- Support emergency evacuations and safety procedures when required
- Communicate effectively with event staff, emergency responders, and security teams
- Maintain professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality at all times
Qualifications for Event Security Guard
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced environments
- Strong observation and problem-solving abilities
- First Aid/CPR Certification is considered an asset
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Previous security, customer service, or event experience is considered an asset
- Reliable transportation is preferred
