What does a Security Guard do?

• Manage access as well as access cards through the computer system 

• Conduct foot and vehicle patrols

• Enter data into various programs and complete Triage Incident reports

• Camera surveillance of access gates and parking barriers 

• Act as a first responder in the event of a crisis or emergency 

• Greet customers and register visitors as needed. Conduct other duties as required 

Qualifications to become a Security Guard

• A valid security guard license and first aid card- we can help with this

• Available to work flexible hours; part-time shifts, 1800-0600 on Saturday and Sunday

• Able to work in all weather conditions. Winter jacket will be provided

• Able to pass pre-access testing, such as drug and alcohol test

• Have a clear criminal background 

• Be eligible to work in Canada and be 18 years or older
