Job Summary:
|
The Response Tech Maintenance Manager will provide leadership and management of the Alarm Response technical maintenance team, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of the Alarm Response Technology. This includes the oversight and accountability of alarm response technicians, managing planned and unplanned maintenance of alarm response equipment, technician productivity, technical stores, and timely billing processes.
The unit is responsible for the full lifecycle of all technology products and services related to alarm response, including communication equipment support for control rooms and response units, in conjunction with IT and vendors to ensure systems are operational.
The role encompasses installations, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of manual alarms, as well as managing the transition of installations from ITS and providing ongoing operations and maintenance as needed. Additionally, this role includes managing outsourced consultants and contractors for response equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
|
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop the Alarm Response Technical Maintenance team in line with strategic response operations business plan, collaborating with other service lines Heads to deliver cohesive, high-impact response service line.
- Technical Productivity Assessment: Work with the tech supervisors to evaluate technical needs and impacts, ensuring alignment with company’s growth and development strategy for the service unit.
- Retention: Tracking Support commercial teams in identifying new leads and opportunities for business development. consultations with clients, government agencies, and industry associates on specific projects.
- Financial Oversight: Develop forecasts and technical response maintenance budgets, controlling OPEX and CAPEX spending on alarm maintenance to maximize revenue generation and contribution to overall response operating profit.
- Documentation Regulatory and Compliance: Enforce compliance with laws, regulations, and customer requirements relevant to business operations. Ensure implementation and review of alarm response maintenance SOP, ensure the production of strategic security and engineering deliverables in Mobile Security Response Strategy, Security Audits support, design maintenance documentation process.
- Maintenance Operational Reporting: Produce operational reports for the alarm technology team, keeping internal and external stakeholders informed of technical developments.
- Technology Research: Conduct information gathering and technical research related to project-specific design solutions, staying current with security technological trends. Advise on the best practices and technology changes and manage staff development within the technical department.
- Team Development: Mentor and guide technical team members, managing capacity and skill levels to meet output and ensuring staff are motivated to achieve company objectives.

Qualifications & Experience:
|
- Bachelors Degree in engineering, IT, electronics or similar is essential
- Professional qualification in design technology, engineering, security and risk management or any related field.
- Minimum ten (10) years technical experience in the same industry with at least five (5) years' in the infrastructure / facilities security sector at a management level.
- Specialist knowledge in retail / residential, corporate, commercial and diplomatic alarm systems and alarm response to include integration with home automation, security / fire control and building management systems.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint and Visio.
- In-depth knowledge of the latest physical and electronic security systems including excellent technical / product knowledge of all types of security, fire and BMS systems and solutions such as but not limited to CCTV, IT networking, Access Control, Video Management Systems, Security Command Centres / Remote Monitoring, Tracking and Alarms.
- Ability to understand and apply and author project documentation, including but not limited to Technical Standards, Manufacturers Product Specifications, Customer Requirement Documents, Design, Quality & Performance, Specifications, Safety, Reliability & Regulatory Standards, Operations and Maintenance Manuals and Protocols.
