Job Summary: Senior HR Officer facilitates sound industrial relations management by providing front-line support on HR, Legal and Administration related matters in Arusha Branch and its supporting Regions and from time to time supporting Country HR Management systems. |

Accountability: |
Sr HR Officer is accountable to Country Human Resources Manager, Africa HR , for the responsibilities stated on this job description. These responsibilities will be monitored and managed through performance appraisals from time to time during your internship contract. |
Competencies: |

Qualifications & Experience: |
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Law, Social Sciences, General Management, Business administration or any Degree in any field with eight (8) years of experience in a labour-intensive and Union sable environment . •Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification is a plus. •Eight (8) years of experience managing HR processes in a labour-intensive and Union sable environment with at least 3 managing Employee Relations. •Exposure to employee relations in a labour intensive and unionized environments •Working knowledge in the application of labour/ employment laws, employment relations law, employee manuals, and handbooks
MANAGEMENT SKILLS •Good leadership and management skills. •Planning, coordination, and problem-resolution skills. •Demonstrate a high degree of sensitivity, and confidentiality when dealing with internal and external customers. •Influencer with excellent negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills •A forward planner with a clear focus, ardent team player, and able to work with remote supervision in a diverse environment. •Attention to detail and strong numeracy skills. •Have good problem-analysis and reporting skills. •High moral standing with impeccable integrity |
