Operational Performance Analyst

The Operational Performance Analyst supports the Aviation Operations team by analyzing operational data, improving workforce hour management, and developing performance indicators. The role focuses on strengthening the use of operational systems such as GSked, identifying discrepancies in hour management across airport locations, and developing KPI dashboards to support operational decision-making. This position plays a key role in improving data visibility, operational efficiency, and accountability across airport operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Data Analysis
- Analyze operational hours and workforce data across airport locations to identify trends, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities.
- Investigate variances in reported hours and support operations in resolving data inconsistencies.
- Provide actionable insights to management to support operational efficiency.
KPI Development
- Design, develop, and maintain operational KPI dashboards.
- Monitor key operational metrics related to workforce hours, scheduling, and operational performance.
- Support leadership with data-driven analysis to improve operational decision-making.
Systems Support & Training
- Support the implementation and proper use of the GSked system across operational teams.
- Develop and maintain training materials and documentation for operational systems.
- Provide guidance and training to operational staff on best practices related to scheduling and hour management.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve processes related to workforce scheduling, reporting, and operational data management.
- Collaborate with operational teams, HR, and payroll to ensure alignment between systems and operational practices.
- Contribute to the development of standardized operational reporting processes.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
- Experience in business analysis, operational analytics, or performance analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
- Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI or similar platforms is an asset.
- Experience working in unionized critical.
