Responsibilities for Airport Security Guard

• Maintain a safe and secure environment throughout the airport
• Monitor and patrol assigned areas
• Control access to restricted areas
• Conduct security screening and inspections as required
• Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms
• Provide professional and courteous customer service to passengers and airport personnel
• Prepare reports and document incidents accurately
• Follow all airport, client, and GardaWorld security procedures
• Work closely with airport authorities, GardaWorld management, and other stakeholders

Qualifications for Airport Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Strong observation and problem-solving skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Previous security or customer service experience is considered an asset
• Previous airport or aviation security experience is considered an asset
