We are hiring a Fleet Supervisor for our Cash Services Division in Edmonton, AB.



What you’ll be doing


  • Driver Logbook audits to be completed monthly as per fleet policy
  • Review vehicle inspections and communication of issues to branches for repairs
  • Review and book preventative maintenance based on availability of trucks and mileage to expiry
  • Plan, organize, and manage the work of subordinate staff to ensure the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements
  • Collaborate with other supervisors and staff members in order to formulate and implement other policies, procedures, goals, and objectives
  • Monitor spending to ensure that expenses are consistent with the approved budget
  • Establish various management tools to improve cost management
  • Perform all other related duties

What we are looking for


  • A successful candidate would either have or need to be trained in Alberta Transportation regulations.
  • Good sense of leadership, structuring, execution, negotiation and judgement
  • Strong teamwork and partnership orientation
  • Sense of urgency, outstanding communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong critical thinking and active listening skills
  • Must have 5-8 years of experience in diagnosing and repairing issues on vehicles
  • Must have 3-5 years experience in supervising unionized employees
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Must possess a valid driver's licence with an acceptable driving record
  • Be driven by customer and personal service
