Ready to suit up as a Event Driver
Join GardaWorld Security as we gear up for a major event in summer 2025! We're looking for experienced drivers to transport high-profile ambassadors for our esteemed clients arriving at YYC Airport in Calgary. This temporary role spans from June 1 to 17, with training scheduled the prior week. Don't miss out on this amazing opportunity – it’s sure to be one of the major events in Alberta for 2025!

- Full time hours up to 12 hours a day. Individuals selected for this position must be available to work all days including evenings and weekends of the temporary coverage

Responsibilities for Event Driver
- Safely transport VIPs to and from YYC Airport, hotels, and designated event locations.
- Maintain professional, courteous, and discreet conduct at all times while interacting with clients.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure cleanliness, fuel levels, and readiness for each trip.
- Coordinate with the event operations team for real-time scheduling and route adjustments.
- Ensure punctual pick-up and drop-off of guests, adhering to assigned schedules.
- Follow all road safety regulations and company policies without exception.
- Manage confidentiality of client information and event details with discretion.
- Assist passengers with luggage and ensure their comfort and safety during transit.
- Maintain a log of trips, mileage, and any incidents for reporting purposes.
- Respond calmly and professionally to unexpected situations such as traffic delays or route changes.
Qualifications for Event Driver
- Authorized to work in Canada.
- Full Class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract.
- Demonstrate courteous and professional behavior at all times, including safe driving practices and appropriate language.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Able to pass a Federal background check.
- This position does not require a provincial security guard license
- Flexible availability to accommodate varying work hours, including evenings and weekends if required.
- Professional deportment and appearance.
- Experience driving cube trucks and/or cargo vans.
- Able to perform duties without making political comments or expressing political opinions while on duty.
