As an Operations Coordinator, you will support the delivery of security services across the Fort McMurray region through operational coordination, service delivery support, fleet oversight, recruitment assistance, client relationship management, and health and safety compliance. Working closely with the Operations Team, you will help ensure contract requirements are met, employees are supported, resources are optimized, and clients receive exceptional service.

Regular working hours are Monday through Friday during standard office hours. Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate must be available to work additional or adjusted hours outside of the regular schedule when required to support business and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Service Delivery
- Support daily branch operations, staffing, scheduling, and logistics.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training compliance, and employee placement.
- Support Site Managers, Supervisors, and Security Guards with operational needs.
- Monitor operational performance, maintain KPI reporting, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain a strong presence at client sites and support contract compliance.
- Attend client meetings, address service concerns, and help foster strong customer relationships.
- Provide operational coverage during management absences and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Fleet Oversight
- Coordinate vehicle inspections, maintenance, repairs, rentals, and replacements.
- Maintain fleet records, driver documentation, and purchase orders.
- Conduct audits and monitor fleet expenses to ensure budget compliance.
Health & Safety
- Promote a strong safety culture across all operations.
- Conduct site inspections, hazard assessments, and incident investigations.
- Support safety audits, corrective actions, and employee safety training.
- Ensure compliance with GardaWorld policies and applicable health and safety legislation.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3-5 years of security industry experience.
- Experience in operations, supervision, or coordination roles.
- Knowledge of health and safety programs and compliance requirements.
- Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with reporting, performance metrics, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driver's abstract.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
