As a Security Supervisor, you will lead and support a team of security guards, ensure daily security operations run smoothly, and maintain a high standard of professionalism and customer service. You will work closely with guards, management, clients, tenants, visitors, and other stakeholders across all shifts in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities for Supervisor Security Guard

• Lead a team of on-site security guards
• Manage and maintain the daily schedule of the team
• Ensure all security guards follow and stay updated on instructions
• Issue and manage access cards
• Complete daily reports and incident reports
• All other related duties

Qualifications for Supervisor Security Guard

• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Must have a valid security guard licence or Be eligible to obtain one.

• Must hold a valid Class 5 driver's licence.

• Previous security experience is required; supervisory or team-management experience is an asset.

• Strong leadership and team-management skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail and professional report-writing abilities.

• Ability to remain calm, professional and respectful when handling challenging situations.

• Flexible availability, including weekends and other shifts as required.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

• Ability to perform the physical duties associated with the position, including responding to security incidents.

• Willingness and ability to complete required Defensive Tactics training.

• Current First Aid/CPR certification is an asset. Candidates must be willing and able to obtain the required certification before starting work or during the onboarding process, if required.

• Reliable, professional and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
