What does a Security guard in Hamilton do?

• Manage access as well as access cards through the computer system 

• Screening packages, bags, through an X-ray machine, ETD and physical research

• Operate metal detectors, scanners, or handheld screening devices for detecting prohibited items.

• Log in visitors, confirm their purpose of visit

• Foot routine patrols, identify and report security issues, deterring unauthorized activities.

• Report writing; Handle complains or issues

• Radio communication required; Cooperation with law enforcement, adhere to protocols

• Following safety protocols; compliance with regulations, continuous training and development

Qualifications to become a Security guard in Hamilton
