Position Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing software development and IT infrastructure projects across the organization. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, defining project scope, managing timelines and budgets, and ensuring successful delivery of initiatives that align with business objectives. The Project Manager will oversee the full project lifecycle, drive collaboration, mitigate risks, and contribute to the continuous improvement of project management practices.

Duties & Responsibilities

Project Planning & Delivery

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

• Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of software development and IT infrastructure projects.

• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.

• Define templates and report project status to stakeholders and leadership. • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, engineers, and business analysts.

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies for software projects and structured planning for infrastructure initiatives.

• Provide leadership, guidance, and motivation to project teams.

• Foster collaboration between IT and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational priorities.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

• Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.

• Communicate project status, risks, and issues through reports and presentations.

• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

• Facilitate workshops and requirement-gathering sessions for both software and infrastructure projects.

Quality & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure adherence to project management best practices and organizational standards.

• Oversee testing, deployment, and transition to operations for software and infrastructure projects.

• Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement.

• Evaluate new tools, methodologies, and technologies to enhance project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing software development and IT infrastructure projects.

• Proven track record of delivering complex projects successfully.

• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, PMI). • Experience with SDLC tools such as Azure DevOps and Jira, and project management tools such as Microsoft Project.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

 • PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred. • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and enterprise IT systems is a plus.

Working Conditions

• Remote work is acceptable, with required travel to company headquarters monthly.

• Travel to client sites as needed.

• Travel to trade shows and industry events.

• Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate global teams.

 • Availability after hours as needed for critical project milestones or issue resolution.
