What does a Recruitment Coordinator in Hamilton do?

  • Actively participate in discussions related to open roles and gain a clear understanding of specific requirements
  • Build applicant pipeline using a variety of channels including posting to job boards, community colleges, employment agencies, job fairs, social media, online databases
  • Review incoming applications for suitable qualifications, experience, and valid licensing
  • Schedule and conduct virtual or face to face interviews to determine job fit, communication skills and schedule availability
  • Ensure that all new hires complete online onboarding and confirming all documents are complete and signed
  • Partner with the Scheduling department to identify a suitable training schedule for the new hires
  • Assist with issuing uniforms to new hires
  • Track Uniform receipts on Lightspeed  
  • Assign employee numbers to new hires 
  • Create profiles of new hires on winteam

  • Hourly Pay Rate - $21; post probation rate will increase to $22
  • Schedule- Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

Qualifications to become a Recruitment Coordinator in Hamilton ?

  • Experience in recruitment, an asset
  • Experience in the security business, an asset
  • Able to manage priorities independently
  • Knowledge of new recruitment methods, able to conduct relevant candidate searches
  • Driver's license and ability to travel to Hamilton and occasionally to London/Sarnia branches
