Location: 690 Main St W, Hamilton, ON

Schedule: Saturday/Sunday 0900-1600

Hourly Pay Rate: $18.25

Training rate: $18

What does a Security Guard in Hamilton do?

• Ensure the safety of people and property and keeping the peace 

• Aid and assist the public entering facility who are either seeking medical attention from a doctor

• Site Foot patrols and access control

• Observe and report any incidents to Security Supervisor for follow up with client

• Enforce safety procedures and standards 

• De-escalate irate patients

• Escort and assist anyone as needed  

• Enforce site Policy

• Escort to Hospital employees to the parking lot

Qualifications to become a Security Guard in Hamilton

• A valid security guard license and Standard first aid card 

• Have a clear criminal background 

• Be eligible to work in Canada 

• Ability to pass Use of Force training and NVCI
