Security Guard, Scheduling Coordinator

GardaWorld is currently hiring a Part-time Scheduler for our Protective Services Division business line. This position works at the Hamilton office located at 444 Seaman St, Hamilton. As a Scheduler, you will be responsible for coordinating activities between our customers, security guards, and account managers. 

Schedule: Part-time availability ( Days, afternoons, nights) 

Pay rate: $19

Location- 444 Seaman St, Hamilton ON

What does a Scheduler in Hamilton do?

• Receive and record book on, off and check in calls from multiple areas
• Ensure that all vacancies created by absences of any sort are filled with the most competent and acceptable replacements
• Ensure that data related to employee lateness, illness, and absence is entered into our software
• Receive client requests and schedule shifts for guards as necessary
• Respond to staff and client inquiries regarding schedules
• Prepare reports at the end of every shift, documenting the events over the shift
• Assist with ground-level security coverages when needed
• The guard will be trained at multiple sites

Qualifications to become a Scheduler in Hamilton

• Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
• Excellent customer service and report-writing skills
• Part-Time availability
• Prior security experience is an asset
• Previous customer service experience
• Prior scheduling experience is an asset
• Good to have Ontario a security guard license
