Are you experienced in security screening? Join our team as a Security Screening Guard at a high-profile site, where you’ll play a key role in ensuring safety and compliance.

As a Surveillance Security Screener Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as a security operations centre, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.

Responsibilities for Surveillance Security Screener

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Use handheld screening devices to check employees entering and exiting the premises
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises 
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Report any irregularities and ensure adherence to site access policies. 
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies

Qualifications for Surveillance Security Screener

• Be authorized to work in Canada

• Hold a valid security license

• First aid certification an asset

• Prior experience in screening (Airport, customs, or similar roles preferred)

• Strong report writing skills

• Strong attention to detail and professional presence

• Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus

• Strong proficiency with technology
