What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk and act accordingly. Your keen sense of observation and strong social skills are your greatest strengths.

As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, security facility centers, etc.

Schedule- Saturday - Sunday 20:00-08:00 

Location- L8M 1W9

Responsibilities for Tactical Security Guard

• Patrol assigned areas and monitor for suspicious activity
• Control access and verify identification at secure points
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies; document all actions
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, and access control systems
• Operate communication devices and maintain accurate reports/logs
• Perform site duties (locks/unlocks, emergency equipment checks, drills support)
• Assist staff, visitors, and provide escorts when required
• Liaise with internal teams, law enforcement, and follow healthcare/security protocols
• Support parking/traffic control, lost and found, and general inquiries
• Maintain required certifications and use security equipment as trained

Qualifications for Tactical Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Valid Ontario security guard licence 
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift
• Proactive, self directed approach with good problem solving skills
• Basic knowledge of navigation, cardinal directions, and spatial awareness is an asset
• Previous experience in healthcare is an asset
• Use-of-force training is considered an asset
