Job Title: Area Coordinator, Kelowna Region
GardaWorld’s Pacific Region is expanding at a rapid rate, and we are looking to add an ambitious Area Coordinator to our security services team based out of the Pacific Region, to champion and assist the regional Operations Manager team with the Interior book of business.
Overview: The Area Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of various operational processes within the organization. In addition, they will be responsible for the effective management of all issues with a focus on delivering a high level of service.
As the liaison for clients, GardaWorld team members and internal operations, you will act as the primary point of contact for client service, employee performance and incident escalation. Job Description
Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:

Maximizing customer retention by driving and ensuring customer satisfaction
-
Validating corrective action for complaints, responding to escalated inquiries/requests quickly and professionally, while adding value at every opportunity, while documenting in accordance with corporate policy

Facilitating activities related to new account start-ups and closeouts
-
Developing new business opportunities
-
Ensuring and documenting that each site is fully staffed with trained, equipped and motivated personnel who can routinely execute on the customer’s mandate, as well as the company’s contractual obligations

Facilitating essential personnel management for staff and non-supervised accounts including evaluation of field staff

Completing requisitions, logs, reports, and associated documentation per our corporate process

Reviewing reports applicable to the business including overtime reports, account requirements, staffing updates, license status to manage portfolios

Completing Standing Orders, Site Hazard Assessments, and ensuring client files are updated annually
-
Ensuring site operations are conducted with prescribed GardaWorld Professional Standards through regularly scheduled site visits

Enhancing & retaining high-profile accounts through interactive solutions;

Ensure consistent adherence of corporate standards as well as ISO and COR compliance;

Work with the local and regional teams to ensure goals are met or exceeded;

Mentor and coach security officers in the field, with a relentless focus on exceeding customer expectations;

Provide subject matter expertise in navigating unique client needs.

Collaborate with other team members, both in the Pacific Region and across Canada in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Qualifications

Previous professional experience in the Security industry is a definite asset
-
Post secondary education in a Security related field is an asset
-
Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or other relevant designations are a definite asset

Excellent communication skills – written and verbal

The successful candidate must demonstrate professionalism in the management of clients;

Strong organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours to meet business demands
-
Ability to travel to designated sites to meet with clients and field staff, as well as report to the respective branch offices.

Proven experience in operations coordination or a similar supervisory role.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and quality standards.

Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to finding solutions.

Be knowledgeable of security/risk management concepts and application processes and display a high level of professional and ethical conduct in all interactions with the client, other potential customers and employees.

Class 5 Drivers license with clean drivers abstract.
