As a Health Care Security Guard, you will help create a safe and welcoming environment for patients, health care workers, and visitors. From conducting patrols and controlling access, to responding to incidents and supporting emergency situations, your ability to stay alert, communicate effectively, and adapt quickly will make a meaningful difference every day.

Responsibilities for a Security Guard

  • Monitor the premises to ensure security
  • Conduct patrols to spot any suspicious activity
  • Address incidents or potential threats quickly
  • Write detailed reports on events and incidents
  • Control access points and check identification
  • Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security
  • Partner with authorities during serious situations

Qualifications for a Security Guard

  • Be authorized to work in Canada
  • Hold a valid security license
  • First aid certification
  • Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
  • Strong problem-solving skills
