Female Close Protection Officer - Ukraine

Role Requirements  

Essential Requirements

• Must be a national and passport holder of a NATO member state.
• Hold a current SIA Frontline Close Protection Licence or a recognised national equivalent approved by the Client.
• Hold a current driving licence, including Category C1 or a recognised national equivalent accepted by the Client.
• Hold a current Level 3 pre-hospital emergency care qualification, such as FREC Level 3, or an approved national equivalent.
• Have completed accredited close protection training of at least four weeks, together with a minimum of two weeks of dedicated employer-led operational training.
• Demonstrate relevant experience in close protection, personal escorting and bodyguarding duties.
• Have at least five years of recent, accumulated service within a recognised national military, gendarmerie, or paramilitary police organisation, including operational experience.
• Demonstrate recent and competent firearms experience, specifically with pistols, carbines and light machine guns.
• Meet all Client-mandated firearms competency, physical fitness and medical standards.
• Be competent and experienced in the safe operation of heavy armoured four-wheel-drive vehicles.
• Be fluent in written and spoken English.
• Be able to obtain and maintain any security clearance required by the Client.

Desirable Requirements

• • Recent military or commercial security experience in Iraq, Afghanistan or another comparable hostile or complex environment.
  • Recent commercial protective security or guarding experience on a comparable government, diplomatic or NATO-related contract.
  • Previous experience working within a multinational or NATO operational environment.
  • Familiarity with NATO procedures, multinational command structures and operational reporting.

Services

Services provided by the contractor shall include but not be limited to the provision of unarmed mobile protection services to ensure the safety and security of all client staff and other personnel who come under duty of care of the NATO, Eastern Europe mission. Services the contractor can expect to carry out, but are not limited to are as follows: 

• Assisting with task delivery, task planning and preparation with due regard for the level of threat conveyed by the most recent project risk assessment when required. 
• Operating as a PPO to Authority clients whilst they conduct their daily duties as part of a mobile protection team. 
• Complying with all directives issued by host state military or police or such other authorities as may have authority over the Team or Operative during tasks and missions, always ensuring and under all circumstances, that due courtesy has afforded them, and effective and cooperative relations maintained.
• Engaging routinely with clients, professionally, politely, and appropriately.
• Reporting to the Team Leadership any client requests for services outside the agreed Scope of Works. 
• Maintaining absolute familiarity with Garda World Standard Operating Procedures and the legal parameters in which the team operates.
• Undergo team training, receiving regular training and maintaining currency in tactics techniques procedures, actions on (response to all threats and scenarios)
