Job Outline:


The Intern is a varied position and requires someone with a “can do” attitude and who is a self-motivator.  The key areas of responsibility will be:


Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) / Environmental Social Governance (ESG)

  • Management and oversight of existing projects (e.g. orphanage in Afghanistan, human trafficking victim support charity, breast cancer screening in Rwanda).
  • Assisting in education of business in ESG and aligning, where applicable, with current CSR projects and client goals.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders across the regions to assist in identifying and evaluating potential and current opportunities.
  • Assisting in development of framework to evaluate opportunities and establish quantifiable targets.
  • Assisting with the implementation of and thereafter, oversight of, CSR/ESG strategy, including tracking and reporting of activity.
  • Attending meetings of, and acting as secretary to, CSR Committee.
  • Keeping abreast of CSR/ESG global trends mindful of the business’s strategy and ethical values.
  • Coordinating with external and internal Marketing and Communications team to promote CSR/ESG activities through social media and / or events, including newsletter and intranet.

Culture and Engagement

  • Coordinate internal communication platform for Consultants, including notifications/ liaison on projects won, acquisitions, Company expansion, promotions, new opportunities.
  • Supporting the DRIW, work in partnership with leaders, managers and HR to design, implement and develop global Culture and Engagement initiatives, to create an inclusive and productive culture within the organization.

The Intern position is accountable to Director, Risk, Insurance and Welfare for their responsibilities stated in this job description. These responsibilities will be monitored and managed through the mid-year and annual performance review and supported through the monitoring of their KPIs.


As directed and delegated by Director, Risk, Insurance and Welfare


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Preference for degree with sustainability element or human geography.
  • Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office IT packages.
  • Experience working in office environment and in different geographical locations would be preferred.
  • Volunteering experience would be highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with social media.


In addition, the successful candidate must have right to live and work in the UK.
