As a working professional for the city, you will ensure that the people are following the rules. The parking law enforcement officer make sure that everyone has parked their vehicle under the provisional rules.

We have the following position available for Temporary Part Time Parking Enforcement/ Mobile in Milton: 

Schedule would be as follows: Mon-Tue 00:00-06:00 and Wed-Thurs 0100-0600 hours and Fri 01:00 - 06:00 (Minimum 27 hours worked weekly)

Hourly Pay Rate: $25

Training hours: Three days of training with a supervisor, 6 hour shifts 00:00-06:00

Training pay rate- $18.25

What does a Parking Enforcement/Mobile in Milton do?

• Patrolling in a variety of settings (mobile and foot) 

• Enforce parking on city streets as per training

• Enforcing city by-laws, and other applicable laws 

• Operate a radio/cell

• Drive for extended period of time

• Grounding at sites when required

• Responsible for company and client property (client keys, company phone, company vehicle and more)

• Write daily and incident reports

• Deterring and responding to incidents 

• Responding to various types of emergencies 

Qualifications to become a Parking Enforcement/Mobile in Milton

• A valid security guard license and first aid card 

• Full G/G-2 License required with clean driver's abstract

• Must be comfortable driving marked vehicle

• 1 year of minimum security guard experience

• Have a clear criminal background and driving record 

• Be eligible to work in Canada
