The Account Executive is a full-time, quota-carrying hybrid hunter role responsible for driving new business, converting inbound opportunities, and expanding existing client relationships. This position plays a critical role in ECAM’s growth by identifying client needs and delivering tailored live video monitoring and integrated security solutions.
Based in Mississauga, the Account Executive manages the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery to closing and account expansion, while collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless implementation and long-term client success.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively prospect and develop new business opportunities within target markets.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, discovery, proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
- Convert inbound leads into revenue-generating opportunities.
- Present and position ECAM’s live video monitoring and integrated security solutions to key decision-makers.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to maximize revenue growth.
- Maintain a robust and accurate sales pipeline, ensuring consistent achievement of quota.
- Provide precise pipeline management and forecasting through CRM tools.
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, and customer success teams to ensure seamless solution delivery.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies within the commercial security sector.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a quota-carrying sales or business development role.
- Commercial physical security sales experience is required.
- Strong understanding of security systems, including CCTV, access control, and related technologies.
- Experience with live video monitoring and Recurring Monthly Revenue (RMR) sales models.
- Demonstrated ability to manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.
- Strong pipeline management and forecasting discipline.
- Excellent presentation and consultative solution-selling skills.
- Proven success in negotiating contracts and closing deals.
- Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills.
- Experience in the security or technology sectors is required
Employment Details
Position Type: Full-time, Permanent
Base Salary: Starting at $70,000 per year plus commission and performance-based incentives
