Position Summary
Performs various administrative tasks and supports the HR Department’s daily activities.
Duties & Responsibilities :
Responsible for working with new hires in the pre-boarding and onboarding
process to make sure all information is accurate, data entry into HRIS and
Payroll systems, conducting new hire orientation, etc.
Initiate changes to the HRIS and Payroll Systems associated with various
personnel events such as job or organization changes and salary actions.
Support HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement programs,
diversity and inclusion efforts, and organizational development plans.
Assisting the Human Resources department with HR related inquiries and
company policies.
Support all internal and external HR and Payroll related inquiries or requests.
Ensuring the employee Handbook and Health & Safety Manual are kept up to
date by making revisions as new policies and procedures come into effect.
Responsible for end-to-end payroll support on bi-weekly frequency including
calculation of vacations, commissions, terminations, and other ad-hoc payments
as required for both hourly and salary employees.
Coordinate offboarding processes for departing employees, including exit
interviews, final pay processing, and retrieving company property.
Participate in safety committee meetings, providing updates and
recommendations on health and safety initiatives.
Taking care of other administrative duties (i.e. photocopying, faxing, scanning,
etc.)
Support Human Resources Department on other duties assigned.
Qualifications :
1-2 years of HR knowledge/experience
Experience with an HRIS
Experience with MS office & Excel
Organizational skills
