We are currently hiring a Reconciliation Manager for our Cash Services division in Mississauga Ontario.

Your mission at GardaWorld:

The Reconciliation Manager is a highly motivated team player, with management and leadership experience, who will provide operational support to our clients. The Reconciliation Manager will build strong teams that focus on excellent customer service, balanced with strong risk mitigation and a culture of compliance that are critical to the success of our customers. He/She will be responsible to execute successful operations with complex transactions that require a keen eye for details. He/She will be well-versed in processes under the role’s responsibility and will be results-driven and focused.


You will be responsible of:

  • Plan, organize, direct and control the processing activities of one of the counting room sectors
  • Maintain and improve the quality, profitability and safety of the services offered and respect production schedules
  • Provide direction for the execution of the sector's activities
  • Manage expenses according to the budget, both labor and current expenses
  • Conduct investigations, as required, in collaboration with internal or external agencies to determine the causes of off-balance and claims
  • Participate in the hiring plan for new staff and provide ongoing training to meet workforce needs
  • Participate in the disciplinary or grievance process
  • Follow-up on the productivity of the different sub-sectors of the department
  • Implement action plans to achieve productivity objectives
  • Participate in all process optimization initiatives
  • Any other related task


You are the ideal candidate for this position because you possess: 

  • Proven experience in achieving operational objectives
  • Able to evolve in a dynamic and changing environment
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience (unionized environment an asset)
  • University education in a related field (Administration, Business Management, etc.) a major asset
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (French an asset)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Very good leadership and work organization skills
  • Strong teamwork and partnership orientation
  • Sense of urgency, exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
  • Critical thinking and active listening skills
