Operations Manager Responsibilities
- The Operations Manager will be required to interface and coordinate with GardaWorld support staff, including recruiting, pay & bill, scheduling, and field staff on a regular basis and in a professional in manner per standards at all times
- Build strong relationships with clients and ensure their satisfaction
- Lead Embedded Managers, Supervisors, and frontline security staff across multiple locations
- Oversee daily operations and ensure 24/7 service delivery through coordination with the Control Centre
- Understand the CBA protocols and procedures, H&S and Business Management manuals
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Manage the impact of billiable and non billable overtime, employee removals and development and career pathing for frontline workers
- Manage departmental growth, retention and turnover reduction
- Monitor key performance indicators such as open shifts, sub usage, and overtime
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Payroll, and Billing teams to maintain seamless operations
- Support business growth by identifying service opportunities and working with our Business Development team
Operations Manager Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in operations or client management
- Experience in Security Services, Fleet Services or Account Management
- Advanced Microsoft Office Skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent communication verbal and written and client presentation abilities
- Highly organized, time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
- Excellent English communications skills
- French communication skills an asset
