Recruitment Coordinator - Temporary Position (1 year)

The Recruiting Coordinator works closely with the recruitment, employee development and training teams to transition a candidate to an employee. Manages the coordination of candidate onboarding with various stakeholders to support aviation’s staffing requirements while following an efficient and effective onboarding process.
Key Responsibilities:

Manages and maintains onboarding of candidates to support timelines for changes in staffing requirements and effective enrollment detail.

Tracks, monitors and processes documentation related to new candidates in a timely and accurate manner

Completing background and reference checks to ensure that employment requirements are compliant

Coordinates the start dates for the part-time pre-certified officer position and offers employment to candidates who express interest in the role.

Liaising with local airport authority pass offices to confirm new security clearances and track results for status reports.

Coordinates enrollment into SOF training ensuring that classes are at capacity to meet the client’s requirements

Conducting onboarding tasks for new hires by creating EID’s and distributing New Hire Packages/payroll documents

Work with the recruitment team on the analysis of internal recruitment figures, statistics, and trends such as application rates, candidate’s success rates and candidate withdrawal rates.

Works with the Human Resources Team to ensure that candidates are equipped with all necessary documents and information before transitioning to an employee.

Facilitates the transfer of recruitment documents to Human Resources for the employee’s personnel file.

Responsible for adherence to systems, processes, and policies in support of the organization's vision and programs.

Participates in and demonstrates an understanding of safety principles and practices; follows all safety policies and procedures to support a safe working environment. Liaison with Health and Safety internal community to ensure compliance.
Education
-
A minimum of 1 - 3 years experience in the full recruitment / onboarding process

A minimum of High School is required or equivalent work experience.

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Fluency in French, spoken and written, is required

Understanding of the aviation security screening industry

Working Conditions

This position is currently hybrid base.

Physical requirements include but are not limited to – sitting for prolonged periods, extensive use of a computer/electronic device.

Ability to mentally focus and concentrate for prolonged periods.

Ability to facilitate in person sessions that requires sitting, speaking, and directing participation of small (3 to 4 people) to large (20 to 50 people) groups during regular business hours over multiple days.

Demonstrated ability to work remotely with little to no supervision.

Work from an offsite remote office with the ability to conduct work through chat-based video platforms (ie. MS Teams)

Work near others. Will share the same workspace and work with people from varying organizational levels, divisions, departments and geographical locations.

No set schedule - may need to work or travel outside of regular work hours.

Overtime can be controlled but may be required dependent on program needs.

Works with little to no direct supervision on routine tasks.
